Why did you choose to be a stylist?
I have been hairdressing since I was 14 years of age. My father wanted me to have a trade. Best advice he ever gave me. From the first day I walked into the salon, I knew what I was meant to be. Also, it was a great way to meet girls.
If you weren’t a stylist, what career would you pursue next?
Anything creative or entrepreneurial, or both. Always wanted to be a lead singer in a band.
What tool can’t you live without?
I think as a stylist I cant live without my shears or my razor, or my smoothing brush and dryer.
Career highlight? Most humbling moment as an artist?
There are many memorable moments. But I would have to say, hearing from a mate when I opened my salon in London that my father who was visiting said he was super proud of me, doing it all on my own.
What do you do with free time? Who do you spend the time with?
I don’t have much spare time, I have a beautiful wife, Paola, boys, Giorgio aged 11 and Valentino, aged 8. Dogs, Chicco and Roman, they all keep me very busy. When I'm not traveling, I love to play and coach soccer with the boys and I run with Roman, my Weimerana.
